Our research activities focus on the Central European region with an emphasis on the territory of Poland, Hungary and Slovakia as well as the Czech Republic, and partly also Lusatia and Belarus. Our research in the field of Romani studies extends beyond this region. We approach the region from several disciplinary perspectives, particularly linguistics, literary science, history and cultural anthropology.
